Zion's Camp

Scott is currently the Young Men's President in our ward. In June they took all of the boys down to Zions and hiked 50 miles in a week. They also did a lot of repelling. All of the leaders and boys had a great time. The trip took several months of planning and certifying. Scott is an amazing leader, he loves those boys so much! Great job Scott!!!

July 4, 2010

We love the 4th of July parade!

Lake Powell

We finally got to go to Lake Powell this year with the Rogers. We didn't go last year because Felicity was born just before they went. We were all very excited to go and we had a great time!

Tub Time!

Lissy was such a mess after dinner, I just put her in the sink. She had a great time!

Memorial Day

We love to go to Scott's family's cabin for Memorial day. We sleep over on Sunday night then the whole family comes up on Monday and we BBQ and ride horses.

End of the Year Dance

The kids were all very excited about the end of the year dance festival. Abbie did the Hoe Down, Throw Down by Hannah Montana, Morgan did the Evolution of Dance, and Garrett did the Chicken Dance! I didn't get a great picture of Morgan because she ran off after the dance.

Girl Trapped!

Garrett had his kindergarten program in May. They sang a bunch of cute songs and Garrett did a great job. I asked him where he was standing on the stage so I could sit on the side he would be on. He said he was on the left and that he was "girl trapped!" That means that there is a girl on both sides of him! He is so funny!

3rd Grade Egg Drop

Morgan and her cousin Ryan got to participate in the third grade egg drop in May. They had to protect a raw egg however they wished and then the principal dropped them off the roof of the school one at a time. Morgan used a parachute and a kind of foam for making orthotic molds. Ryan used rice krispie treats and put the whole thing in a box. Both of the eggs survived!

Hope of America

In May, the 6th grade performed their Hope of America concert for all the parents. They usually get to go the Marriott Center at BYU to perform with many other schools, but our school didn't have the budget for it this year. They did a great job, but I couldn't help but cry a little. Those patriotic songs always get to me! The pictures are of Abbie and her BFF Kayla.

Cousins

My mom, Felicity, and I went to Colorado in May to visit my sister Ricki and her family. I didn't take very many pictures, but I thought this one of Felicity and Keelyn was so cute!

Happy Birthday Morgan!!!

Morgan decided that for the 9th birthday she wanted an American Girl tea party. We had lots of pink decorations, pink lemonade, pink candy, lemon tea cookies, brownies, tea sandwiches and lots more! All of the guests dressed in their best tea party dress and brought their American Girl dolls. We made bracelets for the dolls and had a great time!!!
